Jock Bilger, First, Great Grand Master Shaaron McKee, Third, Master	· 30th January to 1st February Wanganui New Zealand Masters Game 2009 (PLSC members: Jock Bilger, Shaaron McKee) The N.Z. Masters Games Yachting Championship were held by the Sailing Wanganui (Wanganui Sailing Club Inc.) on Friday 30th January to Sunday 1st February 2009 and were sailed on the Whanganui River lower reaches in the vicinity of the Clubhouse, Gilberd Street
	· 24^th January to 27^th January NZ Laser Nationals – New Plymouth (PLSC members: Jeff Coffin, Emlyn Perry, Ian Wallace) The 2009 NZ Laser Championships was hosted by New Plymouth Yacht Club.  The 4 day National Championship attracted a record fleet of over 130 boats and international entries from Switzerland, Ireland, Israel, France, Australia, Korea, Canada and the Cook Islands.

	· 16^th to 24th February 2008 Laser World Championships (PLSC members: Kevin Welsh, Ian Wallace) Terrigal, a delightful holiday town about 1.5 hours drive north from Sydney, was the venue for the 2008 Laser World Championships. The superb climate, open sailing water, beautiful local beaches and excellent onshore facilities drew hundreds of Australian and overseas competitors to this major international event. The host club and organising authority was Gosford Sailing Club
